This policy explains how Digital Karagir Services LLP (“we”) handles personal data on PostJob (postjob.digikaragir.com), in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Mobile number — to log you in by OTP and so that people can contact you about your listings.
- Listing details — your name or company name, title, category, city/area, experience, salary, skills and description.
- Usage records — when you post, renew, report, or view a contact number; OTP requests and approximate IP address, used for security and rate limiting.
- We do not ask for email, passwords, ID documents, bank details or your exact location.
How we use it
- To run the Platform: log you in, publish your listings, and let others contact you.
- To keep it safe: prevent spam, fraud and scraping, enforce limits, and moderate reported listings.
- To comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your number for marketing.
What is public
Your name or company name and listing details are public while the listing is active. Your mobile number is not public: it is shown only to logged-in users who tap “Show phone number”, with limits per user, and each reveal is logged. Expired listings are removed from search and from our sitemap.
Who we share with
- Service providers that run the Platform for us: our database and hosting provider (Supabase, hosted in India – Mumbai region), our SMS/OTP provider (2Factor.in), and our website host.
- Authorities when required by law.
How long we keep it
- Listings: while active, and for up to 12 months after expiry or closure for abuse prevention, unless you delete them earlier.
- OTP request records: up to 3 days.
- Moderation and contact-reveal logs: up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can view, edit, close or delete your listings from My listings. You may also ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to digikaragir.hire@gmail.com from the context of your registered number. We respond within the time required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by database security rules, OTP provider keys are stored server-side only, and contact numbers are rate-limited to prevent bulk harvesting. No system is perfectly secure; please report concerns to us promptly.
Cookies & storage
We use your browser's local storage only to keep you logged in and to remember a draft listing. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Children
The Platform is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
